Jesus, you are the Messiah, the Son of the Living God. And on this rock you are building your Church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. Thank you for this mighty fortress—a bulwark never failing. We long to trust you more. Jesus, Jesus, how we trust you, how we’ve proved you over and over. Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus, O for grace to trust you more! Lord, we don’t want to play at this. We want to rise up into it. Perfect love, Jesus. You are perfect love. Holy Spirit bring us perfect love. Praying in Jesus name. Amen.
