Our youth ministry is meant for those in 6th grade and higher. It is focused on providing a welcoming community for students where they can develop in their relationship with God and with each other. This is done through sound Biblical teaching presented in a way that young people can apply immediately to their lives. We seek to nurture the spiritual lives of students through Bible study, discipleship, fellowship, and worship.
Youth ministry is an active, relational endeavor. We like to hang out together as often as possible. Times of Bible study are interspersed with games, laughter, and lots of food. But, we don’t just hang out and feed our spirits and bodies. Our youth ministry is concerned about the world around us. Through mission projects and special events, our students are the hands and feet of Christ to a world in need.

July 15 - Hot Springs: Lunch at Superior Bathhouse and Hike afterward - bring $10 and wear comfortable clothes and shoes - 10:00 am-2:00 pm Sturgis parking lot across from church office
July 17-21 - Assembly 2023 at Hendrix College in Conway (all grades 6-12): This is going to be a great week with other youth from across the state. Please see parent email for packing list. Only need $ for pizza snack in the evening and souvenirs (if wanted). - 3:30 pm Sturgis parking lot
July 19 - Christmas in July: We will be making new Chrismon ornaments for the Christmas trees along with making new bows and cleaning up the other Christmas decorations. This will let us get everything ready so when Hanging of the Green comes in late November, we will be able to make our church look beautiful for the Christmas season. - 6:30 pm in Fellowship Hall
July 29 - Caddo River Float Trip: We will be floating the Caddo River. We will be getting on the river in Glenwood. Wear appropriate swimwear and bring sunscreen and $10. - 10:00 am Sturgis parking lot
July 31 - Main Event Trip: We will be going to Main Event in Little Rock to play games and eat some pizza. Please bring $10. - 4:00-9:00 pm Sturgis parking lot
